Job description

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with at least 3 - 5 years of post-qualification experience. Experience of working in Oil & Gas / Public Sector (In Downstream) shall be preferred. Can estimate and prepare engineering estimates for small to medium projects related to civil buildings and transmission pipeline civil infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare scope of work for small to medium civil projects related to civil building structures and transmission pipeline civil infrastructure.
• Capable of assessing and maintaining the integrity of civil buildings and infrastructure.
• Capable of supervising civil projects and ensuring quality control.
• Prepare project plans and scheduling for civil buildings and pipeline infrastructures.
• Supervise civil projects and ensure project quality control and quality assurance for civil projects.
• Have a sound understanding of codes and standards applicable to civil projects.
• Well versed with building laws and regulations applicable in Sindh/Pakistan.
• Ensure integrity of civil structures and buildings including KT, HQ, etc.
• Prepare BOQ for small and medium transmission projects.
• Prepare engineering estimates of civil infrastructure.
• Prepare tender documents for civil infrastructure and repair jobs.
• Prepare technical evaluations independently.
• Guide section head and department head in preparing civil budget.
• Well versed with latest technological tools for civil projects.
• Familiar with and able to use project software like Primavera for project planning and scheduling.
• Estimate transmission HQ buildings and pipeline infrastructures for repair and maintenance.
• Lead ELPs for future grooming in line with SSGC business goals.
• Prepare periodic reports with respect to assigned tasks to be submitted to management.
• Any other task assigned by senior management.
