Job summary

Siddiqi & Co is seeking a Head of Internal Audit to lead our internal audit function, report directly to the CEO, and drive risk management and process improvements across the organization.

The role requires a Chartered Accountant with Big 4 experience and at least 10 years in manufacturing, preferably in listed companies, with strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.

Qualifications

• Qualified CA with Big 4 experience.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably listed companies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven leadership abilities to inspire and guide a team toward audit objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive internal audit plans aligned with company objectives and annual audit plan.
• Lead a team of internal auditors in audits across all business functions, ensuring adherence to policies and standards.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and propose improvements to mitigate risks and enhance efficiency.
• Provide insightful recommendations to senior management and CEO based on audit findings to foster transparency and accountability.
• Lead special investigations or ad-hoc projects as assigned by CEO to address concerns or opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Education, Experience & Skills
