Chief Engineer – Meter Repair Shop Testing Lab (Balochistan)

JOB DETAILS:

Qualification & Experience:

BE Industrial / Mechanical with at least 09 years relevant experience in Oil & Gas sector (preferably).

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring & maintaining accurate testing of replaced meters (Domestic, Bulk & Commercial category) under OGRA guidelines
• Monitoring all Meter Transactions through CC&B and physical
• Ensuring effective Meter R&D (Receive & Dispatch) operations
• Ensuring reconciliation of meters received, tested and returned on regular intervals
• Monitoring punching of Lab Test Reports in CC&B - Device Test Module and cross checking / validating of already punched reports
• Maintaining preservation of all MTL record (Test reports, tampering evidences, transaction history etc.) as ready reference
• Periodic Meet-up with regional Claim Assessment Committee for identifying Theft & Under-Billing volume against Commercial & Bulk tariff consumers
• Co-ordination with Billing department for timely booking of Theft & Under-Billing volume to Domestic consumers
• Maintaining controlled environment for all MTL operations
• Ensuring effective delivery of all operations related to customer focus & satisfaction
• Ensuring annual calibration of Master Meters / Dry Test Meters for accurate proving results
• Ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015 requirements for Meter Testing Lab
• Ensuring compliance with HSE&QA practices on “Proving Floor” and all MTL office area including MTL-Store
• Monitoring & maintaining smooth MTL-Store operations
• Development of regional Meter Repair Shop setup
• Commissioning of new building for enhanced capacity
• Enhancing meter proving capacity by adopting modern technology preparing technical specifications for latest Meter Prover
