Job summary

XCLUSIVE NETWORK in Islamabad is seeking a CCTV Technician to install, configure, and service security systems at client sites. You will perform site surveys, route cables, mount cameras, and test performance to ensure full coverage and reliability.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of CCTV systems, including IP and analog cameras, DVR/NVR configuration, and related networking basics.
• Hands-on skills in installation, cable management, mounting equipment, and using tools and test instruments safely and effectively.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues, perform routine maintenance, and optimize system performance.
• Understanding of security and surveillance principles, system layout design, and coverage planning for retail and commercial environments.
• Good communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical matters clearly and document work accurately.
• Capacity to work on-site, travel to client locations in Islamabad as needed, and manage time and tasks independently and in a team.
• Relevant diploma or certification in electronics, electrical, IT, or a related technical field; prior experience in CCTV or security systems is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with health and safety standards, and a commitment to following company policies and quality procedures.

Role Description

The CCTV Technician is responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining CCTV and related security systems at client sites, ensuring reliable operation and optimal coverage. Day-to-day tasks include site surveys, cable routing, mounting cameras and equipment, testing system performance, and troubleshooting hardware and software issues. The role involves working closely with clients to understand security needs, providing basic user training, and documenting installations and maintenance activities in a clear and organized manner. The technician must adhere to safety standards, company procedures, and quality guidelines while coordinating with the wider technical and logistics teams to complete projects on time. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Islamabad.
