Job summary

Contour Software, a global software company with offices in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad, is seeking a Cash Application Assistant / Sales Ledger Admin to join the UK Finance team. The role focuses on accurately posting and reconciling daily cash receipts, ensuring proper application to customer accounts and maintaining records in line with policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years relevant experience in cash application or accounts receivable.
• Strong commercial acumen and financial analysis skills.
• Excellent IT skills with high proficiency in Excel.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Great Plains is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Download daily bank statements and save in designated shared folders.
• Identify customer details and post daily cash receipts in accounting system.
• Post multi-currency receipts and review remittance advices.
• Prepare integration files for bulk processing of high volume payments.
• Assist with month-end close and resolve posted cash errors and GL accounts.
• Identify refunds from bank statements and post to the system.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and company procedures.
• Support process improvements in cash application and AR functions.
• Create strong working relationships with team members.
• Run monthly statements and automate chase letters.
• Review sales ledgers for clearance of historical balances.
