Job description

Purpose

Café Manager is responsible for the successful daily operations of the café. He/she hires, trains, manages, and supports shift supervisors and Baristas to ensure the team provides consistent products, maintains a clean working environment, and delivers the highest level of guest experience.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate passion and confidence for the Second Cup Brand
  • Provide quick, friendly, and genuine service to guests
  • Generate guest satisfaction; respond appropriately to guest concerns
  • Manage and motivate shift supervisors and Baristas
  • Develop and implement café policies and procedures
  • Ensure adherence to all Second Cup Standards, product quality, and guest service consistency
  • Handle hiring, firing, training, and performance reviews
  • Assist Operations Manager with ordering supplies
