Job summary

TransPeshawar is seeking an Assistant Manager Bus Compliance to oversee regulatory and contractual adherence for BRT operations in Peshawar. This role involves close coordination with bus operators, regulatory bodies, and internal teams to enforce standards and support efficient transit services.

The incumbent will monitor schedules, safety, fare integrity, and passenger facilities, prepare detailed reports, and lead training initiatives for field staff.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years degree in Civil/Mechanical/Transport Planning/Industrial Engineering or related fields from a recognized university.
• Specialized training in Bus Operations or public/urban transport is advantageous.
• Active affiliations – Pakistan Engineering Council.

Responsibilities

• Monitor operator compliance with protocols and schedules.
• Audit bus operations and terminals regularly.
• Maintain records and generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Coordinate with field staff, inspectors, and control center teams.
• Investigate incidents and liaise with enforcement bodies when needed.
• Support training and SOP development for operations staff.
• Utilize ITS tools and data dashboards for monitoring.
