Job summary

ACE Properties, the real estate subsidiary of ACE Group, seeks an experienced Building Inspector with strong knowledge of construction from grey structure to finishing. You will inspect construction activities, enforce drawings and bylaws on site, and ensure quality, safety, and timely handover.

The candidate should hold a DAE Civil (mandatory) with 8+ years of site experience, including residential/commercial projects, and be capable of directing masons, labor, and carpenters while coordinating

Qualifications

• DAE Civil is mandatory.
• 8+ years of practical site experience (Residential/Commercial).
• Strong grip on building bylaws and ability to enforce on site.
• Knowledge of grey structure and finishing.
• Knowledge of market rates and estimation.
• Confident personality capable of taking strict decisions.
• AutoCAD reading knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enforce bylaws, check and verify site per approved drawings/maps.
• Supervise civil works: layout, excavation, foundation, brickwork, RCC, shuttering, steel fixing, concrete pouring.
• Check line, level, alignment, and plumb; ensure work matches drawings/specifications.
• Inspect finishing works: tiles, plaster, flooring, painting, kitchen, bathrooms, false ceiling.
• Maintain daily site inspections, reports, and progress; manage masons, labor, carpenters; ensure safety.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and confidentBuilding Inspectorwith strong knowledge of building construction, from grey structure through final finishing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting construction activities, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, quality standards, and applicable building bylaws, and strictly enforcing requirements on site. The role requires strong site presence, attention to detail, sound technical judgment, and the ability to identify and address non-compliance throughout the construction process.

Bylaws & Building Line Implementation:

• Complete knowledge of building bylaws, building line, setbacks, ground coverage, FAR, and height regulations.
• Confidently apply and enforce bylaws on site and stop any violations.
• Check and verify site as per approved drawing/map.
• Confidently deal with contractors and clients regarding bylaws.

Civil & Structural Work Inspection:

• Supervise all civil works layout, excavation, foundation, brickwork, RCC, shuttering, steel fixing, concrete pouring.
• Check line, level, alignment, and plumb.
• Ensure quality as per drawings and specifications.

Building Material Knowledge:

• Strong knowledge of cement, sand, aggregate, steel, bricks, blocks, concrete mix ratios.
• Ability to check quality, quantity, and proper usage of materials.
• Knowledge of material testing and wastage control.

Finishing Material & Finishing Works:

• Expert knowledge of tiles, marble, granite, paint, woodwork, aluminum, glass, ceiling.
• Supervise all finishing works - plaster, flooring, tiling, paint, kitchen, bathrooms, false ceiling.
• Ensure final finishing quality and defect-free handover.

Site Management:

• Daily site inspection and reporting.
• Maintain inspection reports and daily progress.
• Manage masons, labor, carpenters on site.
• Ensure safety measures.

Requirements & Skills:
