VASL is seeking a motivated Accountant/Bookkeeping Associate to join our onsite team in Islamabad. You will handle bookkeeping, payroll support, and financial reporting while working with international clients under US GAAP guidelines.

This role is ideal for candidates pursuing ACCA or CA qualifications, who are eager to learn and grow into senior accounting positions within the organization.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of accounting principles.
• Willingness to learn and grow in bookkeeping and finance.
• Experience with or exposure to US GAAP is a plus.
• Willingness to develop technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in end-to-end bookkeeping for multiple clients.
• Support accounts receivable and payable processes with timely invoicing and payments.
• Conduct basic reconciliations for bank accounts and credit cards.
• Learn payroll processing by assisting with client payroll tasks.
• Prepare financial statements and analyze data under supervision of senior accountants.
• Shadow senior team members in client meetings and respond to financial inquiries.
