VASL, Islamabad-based, seeks a Manager - Accounting & Finance to lead accounting operations for US-based clients. You will supervise bookkeeping teams, review statements, and ensure US GAAP compliance. This onsite role requires strong leadership and process improvement skills.

You will coordinate with clients directly, oversee month-end close, budgeting, and financial analysis, and help scale finance operations while maintaining high service quality. Excellent communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• ACCA / CA / CPA qualification or partially qualified candidates preferred.
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
• Experience handling US-based clients is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication and team management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounting and bookkeeping operations for US-based clients.
• Supervise and mentor bookkeeping specialists and associate-level resources.
• Review financial statements, reconciliations, journal entries, and reports.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with US GAAP principles.
• Handle month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Review AP, AR, payroll, and cash flow management processes.
• Coordinate with clients directly through email and meetings.
• Improve internal SOPs, workflows, and reporting processes.
• Monitor team productivity, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities
• Assist leadership in scaling finance operations and service quality
