Job summary

Blending Operator position in Kemari area involves carrying out high quality, safe blending operations and coordinating with contractors in a lube oil blending plant. You will ensure HSSE adherence, manage inbound bulk stock receipts and perform SAP entries for bulk production/receipt, while maintaining ISO documentation and supporting audits.

Suitable for fresh graduates or those with 1–2 years of experience; work schedule is 5 days with alternate Saturdays and shift duty, based in Kemari.

Qualifications

• Degree (Bachelor’s/Diploma) in Physics, Chemical, Process, Mechanical, Electrical or Polymer.
• Fresh graduates or 1–2 years of experience.
• Shift duty and 5-day work week with alternate Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Carry out high quality, efficient and safe operations in blending section.
• Coordinate service contractors in day-to-day lube oil blending plant operations.
• Ensure HSSE and local procedures are followed.
• For bulk stock receipts, manage inbound vehicles, verify quantities and sample stock.
• Coach, train and lead blending resources.
• Follow Lab Quality Standard Guidelines during blending operations.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to follow production plan.
• Execute SAP entries related to bulk production/receipt.
• Maintain records for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 compliance.
• Blend SOP updates and reviews.
• Support plant audits.
• Permit to work for production/blending area maintenance.
• Conduct HSSE sessions sharing.
• Work as a Care Champion from blending.
• Regular surveillance inspection of blending facilities.
• Housekeeping in production area.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance with Maintenance teams.
• Monitor consumption & stock other than routine blending.
• Maintain daily kettle/drop tank sheet.
• Share daily production performance with plant focal representatives.

Job description:

• Carry out high quality, efficient and safe operations in blending section in the most cost efficient and timely manner
• Execute and coordinate service contractor in day-to-day lube oil blending plant operation including routine blending operations and tank lorry and ISO tank receipt operations in a safe manner
• Ensure that all HSSE and local procedures are followed
• For receipt of bulk stock, the tasks include: physical management of inbound vehicles, ensuring delivered quantities match delivery documentation and sampling of all inbound bulk stock
• Coach, train, and lead blending 3P resources in blending operations
• Follow Lab Quality Standard Guidelines during blending operations
• Coordinate with all internal stakeholders to ensure production plan is followed
• Execute SAP entries related to bulk production/receipt timely
• Responsible for blending-related record management for compliance to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 standards
• Blending SOP updates & review
• Support plant audits
• Permit to work support for plant maintenance activities related to production/blending area
• Conduct HSSE sessions sharing
• Work as a Care Champion from blending
• Carry out regular surveillance inspection of blending facilities.
• Ensure housekeeping in the production area.
• Work with Maintenance teams to ensure timely execution of preventive maintenance of plant assets as per maintenance plan.
• Consumption & monitoring of flush, fillers & return stock other than routine blending.
• Keep daily kettle/drop tank sheet updated
• Share daily production performance file with plant focal representatives

Qualification & Experience

Degree (Bachelor’s/Diploma)

Field of Study Physics/Chemical/Process/Mechanical/Electrical or Polymer

Fresh graduate or 1 to 2 years of experience

Work schedule: 5 day work week with alternate Saturdays on duty
