Novacare Hospitals (Private) Limited is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Manager to lead the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and operational readiness of dialysis and related biomedical equipment. The role ensures equipment safety, reliability, and integration with hospital infrastructure.
The candidate will coordinate with clinical, construction, and vendor teams, develop maintenance SOPs, train staff, and ensure compliance with healthcare standards.
The role will support the Dialysis and Biomedical Engineering function by ensuring the effective installation, commissioning, maintenance, and operational readiness of dialysis machines and related biomedical equipment for safe and reliable patient care
Install, test, commission, and maintain dialysis and biomedical equipment.
Ensure equipment reliability, safety, and operational readiness.
Equipment Selection & Integration
Support selection, procurement, and integration of biomedical equipment.
Ensure compatibility with hospital infrastructure and clinical requirements.
Project & Team Coordination
Coordinate with clinical, construction, engineering, and vendor teams.
Support equipment planning and readiness for hospital opening.
Compliance & Quality
Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare, safety, and regulatory standards.
Conduct equipment validation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Coordinate with vendors and support technical evaluation of new technologies.
Monitor vendor performance and equipment-related requirements.
Training & Documentation
Develop maintenance schedules and equipment-related SOPs.
Train clinical staff on safe and effective equipment use.
Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred.
5+ years of experience in biomedical equipment management, preferably in a hospital setting.
Experience with dialysis equipment, new hospital projects, equipment integration, installation, or commissioning is preferred.
