Job summary

Binance is seeking a Social Media and Content Intern to craft native TikTok, Instagram Reels, X, and YouTube Shorts content. You will ideate, appear on camera, shoot, and edit fast-moving clips that align with trends and brand style.

You’ll support the social team across content creation, publishing, community management, creator coordination, and reporting. The role requires deep platform literacy, a strong sense of hooks and pacing, and bilingual English/Urdu for overseas coordination.

Responsibilities

• Create short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts from concept to publish-ready edit.
• Appear on camera for explainers, trends, and scripted or semi-scripted videos.
• Monitor trends and adapt them into timely content across platforms.
• Apply hooks and retention techniques to improve watch-through.
• Edit videos using CapCut and platform tools, ensuring captions and pacing are on point.
• Adapt content per platform, not cross-posting identical versions.
• Schedule and publish content with captions, hashtags, and cover frames.
• Maintain content calendar, asset trackers, and publishing status.
• Support social listening and track brand mentions and sentiment.
• Manage comments/DMs, draft responses, and flag sensitive queries.
• Support MENAP Creator Program with briefs, trackers, and outreach.
• Help grow the creator database and scout new creators across platforms.
• Extract social metrics and contribute to weekly/monthly reports.

About The Role

The Social Media and Content Intern supports the social team in producing native, platform-first content for TikTok, Instagram (Reels), X, and YouTube (Shorts). This is a hands‑on, on‑camera and in‑edit role: the intern is expected to ideate, appear in, shoot, and edit short‑form video and to move fast on emerging trends so the brand stays culturally current. This role suits someone who lives on these platforms, understands their visual language, and can turn a brief (or a trending format) into a finished, publish‑ready clip with minimal supervision. This role will support the social media team across content creation, publishing, community management, creator coordination, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Create short‑form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts, from concept to publish‑ready edit.
• Appear on camera for relevant formats, including explainers, trends, street‑style content, and scripted or semi‑scripted videos.
• Monitor TikTok, Instagram, X, and YouTube for emerging trends, sounds, formats, and challenges, and help turn relevant trends into timely content.
• Apply strong hook and retention thinking across content, using visual, audio, and narrative techniques to improve watch‑through.
• Edit videos using CapCut and native platform tools, ensuring captions, pacing, transitions, sound sync, and safe zones follow platform best practices.
• Adapt content for each platform rather than cross‑posting identical versions.
• Schedule and publish approved content across TikTok, Instagram, X, and YouTube, including captions, hashtags, tags, cover frames, alt text, and QA checks.
• Maintain the content calendar, asset trackers, and publishing statuses.
• Support social listening by tracking brand mentions, keywords, competitor activity, sentiment shifts, and relevant conversation trends.
• Monitor comments, DMs, and mentions, draft approved responses, and elevate sensitive or compliance‑related queries.
• Support the MENAP Creator Program by managing creator communications, distributing weekly briefs, tracking deliverables, logging content links, and flagging missed deadlines or off‑brief content.
• Help maintain the creator database and scout potential new creators across TikTok, Instagram, X, and YouTube.
• Pull social performance metrics and support weekly or monthly reporting, highlighting learnings around engagement, retention, and content performance.

Expected Deliverables

• 3–5 publish‑ready short‑form videos per week.
• Scheduled and published posts in line with the content calendar.
• Weekly trend shortlist with recommended formats or sounds.
• Weekly social listening highlights.
• Updated MENAP Creator Program tracker and weekly creator briefing distribution.
• Community management support with escalations logged.
• Input into weekly or monthly performance reporting.
• Participation in weekly planning and review sessions.

Requirements

• Proven ability to create short‑form content for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts (portfolio, personal account, or previous work).
• Comfortable and natural on camera.
• Deep, current understanding of TikTok, Instagram, X, and YouTube trends and culture, with the instinct to move fast.
• Strong understanding of hooks (visual, audio, and video) and how they drive retention.
• Proficient in CapCut and Instagram's native editing tools.
• Strong sense of pacing, framing, and platform‑native visual language.
• Organized, deadline‑driven, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong written communication and relationship‑management skills able to interact professionally with external creators and represent the brand in outreach.
• Comfortable learning and working in social media tools (publishing/scheduling, listening, and analytics platforms).
• Bilingual English/Urdu is required to be able to coordinate with overseas partners and stakeholders. Additional languages would be an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with the fintech and crypto space, and interest in creating content for a brand like Binance.
• Prior hands‑on experience with publishing, listening, or analytics tools [e.g. Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Brandwatch, Talkwalker].
• Experience creating content for a brand or business account (not only personal).
• Basic shooting/lighting knowledge for phone‑first production.
• Familiarity with social analytics (views, retention, engagement) and using them to improve content.
