Job summary

Ghalib Ashrafi is seeking a Social Media & Content Lead for remote Pakistan work. You will own end-to-end social production for Pakistan clients, with Urdu and English content, predominantly mobile vertical, and WhatsApp sharing designed for rapid dissemination.

You’ll respond to comments and manage authentic client storytelling in real-time. Ideal candidates have 3+ years running social for brands, a strong portfolio, and comfort filming with clients and their customers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years running social for brands, agency or in-house.
• Genuinely bilingual production – not translation after the fact.
• Portfolio demonstrating shooting and editing ability.
• Comfortable filming with clients and their customers.
• Ability to determine when to overlap hours with Pakistan clients.
• Willingness to be on camera with clients.

Responsibilities

• Take a brief from strategy through to shooting and editing, not to a stock library
• Reply to the comments afterwards, because that is where the account is actually won
• Shoot and edit for mobile vertical first, because that is the whole surface
• Produce in Urdu and English, and know which one carries a given message better
• Design for sharing that happens in WhatsApp groups rather than on the platform itself
• Say when a trend is wrong for the client, including when it would have performed
