j. awan & partners is the largest home-grown GRC advisory firm in the GCC: 50+ compliance specialists across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, Doha, Karachi, London, Cape Town, and Singapore, and eight service lines covering regulatory authorisation, outsourcing, advisory, tax and accounting, corporate services, recruitment and HR, training and education, and assurance.
Many target clients buy through formal procurement: government entities, regulators, state-owned enterprises, banks, insurers, and fund managers. Some RFPs are published on e-procurement portals. Many are never published or are issued by invitation only, to approved suppliers. The firm wins on practitioner depth. It cannot win tenders it never sees.
Growth and responsibility. We invest in our people through ongoing training and development. We also give back to the communities we operate in.
The Bid Specialist builds a self-sustaining tender pipeline across all eight service lines: US$2m in tender-sourced pipeline in Year 1, generated by this channel alone. You run three engines:
And have the following three parameters:
The firm has no BD team. Partners and Directors originate the work and cannot spend their week reading portals. You qualify and recommend. Practice stakeholders decide and compile the proposal. You make it a ten-minute decision, and you make sure the bid goes out right.
This role does not make the final Go/No-Go decision, draft or compile proposals, set pricing, or approve procurement spend. Practice stakeholders, the partners and practice leads who own each service line, decide and compile.
Practice stakeholders, the partners and practice leads who own each service line, decide and compile. During a live tender, buyer contact goes only through the channel the tender defines.

Coverage registers (internal tracking file), intake gate, supplier access tracker, response templates, and eligibility library documented and refined. The channel scales because the system scales.
Maintain the coverage register (internal tracking file): sources tiered, with credentials, category codes, registration status, and renewal dates. Configure alerts and aggregator feeds by service line. Monitor mailboxes. Log every relevant solicitation in HubSpot.
