Job summary

Mobiz is seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to join the growing infrastructure team in Karachi, Pakistan. You will architect and manage enterprise-scale Azure environments, implement infrastructure as code, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust cloud solutions.

This role requires strategic thinking and hands-on expertise across Azure networking, security, and governance, with experience in Terraform, ARM/Bicep, and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
• Strong understanding of Azure networking concepts (VNets, NSGs, Azure Firewall, Application Gateway, Load Balancers).
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep).
• Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, or similar CI/CD platforms.
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS).
• Knowledge of Azure governance, security, and cost management.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Architect and manage enterprise-scale Azure environments.
• Implement infrastructure as code and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Design and maintain hub-and-spoke networks and landing zones.
• Configure ExpressRoute, VPN gateways, and hybrid connectivity.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployments.
• Automate routine tasks and enable self-service capabilities.
• Produce documentation for infrastructure standards and procedures.
• Ensure security best practices across Azure services and governance.
