Job summary

iSystems Ltd is seeking a highly skilled AWS Developer/Architect to design, implement, and optimize AWS-based solutions. The role focuses on building REST APIs with API Gateway and Lambda in Python, and delivering scalable, multi-region architectures that ensure high availability.

You will implement Jenkins pipelines, write DevOps code for automation, and keep pace with evolving AWS technologies and best practices. A strong foundation in cloud deployment patterns is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years hands-on experience with AWS technologies.
• Strong proficiency in developing REST APIs using API Gateway and Lambda (Python).
• Solid understanding of AWS deployment architectures and services (VPC, EC2, Route 53, S3, RDS).
• Proven experience deploying multi-region solutions for high availability and fault tolerance.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins, CloudFormation templates, DevOps practices, and AWS SAM.
• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect or Developer) preferred.
• Experience with authentication technologies such as Auth0 and AWS Cognito is a plus.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AWS Developer/Architect with extensive expertise in AWS technologies, particularly in developing REST APIs using API Gateway and Lambda functions in Python. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of AWS deployment architectures, including designing and deploying multi-region solutions, along with hands-on experience in building Jenkins pipelines and writing DevOps code.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable AWS-based solutions.
• Develop REST APIs using AWS API Gateway and Lambda functions, primarily in Python.
• Implement and optimize AWS deployment architectures to ensure reliability, scalability, high availability, and performance.
• Design, develop, and deploy multi-region solutions to ensure fault tolerance and business continuity.
• Build and maintain Jenkins pipelines to automate application development and deployment processes.
• Write and maintain DevOps code to support infrastructure automation and deployment activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AWS services, application integrations, and deployments.
• Stay updated with the latest AWS technologies, cloud architecture standards, and industry best practices.
