Autocad/3D Design Specialist

Position Overview:

The AutoCAD/3D Design Specialist will work closely with our USA customer’s engineering, sales, and project management teams to develop detailed 2D and 3D designs for commercial door systems. This role requires a keen eye for detail, proficiency in CAD software, and the ability to transform design concepts into accurate technical drawings and models.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit (or other 3D design software like SolidWorks, SketchUp, or Rhino).
• Good to have any AR/VR portfolio.
• Strong understanding of architectural design, structural components, and material properties.
• Ability to interpret architectural and engineering blueprints.
• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate and precise designs.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in commercial door systems, hardware, or related construction fields.
• Experience with gaming, AR, VR characters or related fields.
• Familiarity with 3D rendering tools (e.g., 3ds Max, Lumion, or Blender) for visualization.
• Knowledge of building codes, fire safety requirements, and ADA compliance.
• Basic knowledge of project management software like AutoDesk BIM 360 or Procore.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1+ years of experience in CAD drafting or 3D modeling, preferably in the construction or architectural industry.
