Job summary

Arwentech is seeking an Associate Network Engineer to work full time across Pakistan, supporting planning, design and implementation of Cisco, Juniper and other products for clients nationwide. The role involves deployments, troubleshooting, and collaboration with an enterprise architecture team to implement subnetting, VLANs, VOIP, VPNs and WLAN across multiple locations.

Candidates should have 1+ year of experience and a Bachelor’s in Engineering.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of progressive experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Certifications: JNCIS, JNCIA-IDP, IUWVNCCNP, CCNA.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in deployments across Pakistan.
• Open and handle JTAC and Cisco TAC cases.
• Implement network configurations including subnet and VLAN implementation, VOIP telephony solutions, VPN tunneling, and wireless LAN implementation at various locations.
• Network design, integration, optimization and migration.
• Provide engineering support for troubleshooting.
• Resolve customer satisfaction issues related to integration.
• Any other task assigned by Management.
• Understand the issues involved with administering and maintaining corporate infrastructure, including network connectivity, Internet access, email, etc.

Job description

Role of Associate Network Engineer is to work full time across Pakistan, to support and assist in planning, design and implementation of an infrastructure that will support current needs and future expansion plans of integrating CISCO, Juniper and other products from Arwen’s product portfolio for Arwen’s clients across Pakistan.

• Actively participate in deployments across Pakistan.
• Responsible for opening and handling JTAC and Cisco TAC cases.
• Work with enterprise level architecture team to implement network configurations including subnet and VLAN implementation, VOIP telephony solutions, VPN tunneling, and wireless LAN implementation at various locations.
• Network design, integration, optimization and migration.
• Provide engineering support for troubleshooting.
• Work with team members to identify and resolve customer satisfaction issues related to integration.
• Any other task assigned by Management.
• Understand the issues involved with administering and maintaining corporate infrastructure, including network connectivity, Internet access, email, etc.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSA’s) required to successfully perform the job:

• Good understanding and practical experience with routing protocols & switching technologies.
• Advanced knowledge in network design, network architecture, protocols and network topology.
• Must be able to work with end users, communicate clearly, and meet deadlines.

Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification required for the position:

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of progressive experience.
• Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Specific technical qualification/certification: JNCIS, JNCIA-IDP, IUWVNCCNP, CCNA.

Competencies required to successfully perform the job:
