Assistant Store Manager (Beechtree) (Pepperland)

Responsibilities:

  • Training sales staff by reviewing and revising orientation to products and sales communication; reviewing staff job results and learning needs with store manager; developing and implementing new product training by understanding consumer behavior.
  • Evaluation of competition and current trends by gathering information such as style, quality, and prices of competitive merchandise.
  • Attracting customers by communicating product USPs; following display suggestions or schedules; constructing or assembling prefabricated display properties; producing merchandise displays in windows and showcases, and on sales floor.
  • Promotion of sales by demonstrating merchandise and products to customers.
  • Helping customers by providing information; answering questions; obtaining merchandise requested; completing payment transactions; preparing merchandise for delivery.
  • Maintaining an attractive environment and clean store ambiance.
  • Maintaining inventory by checking merchandise to determine inventory levels; anticipating customer demand.
  • Preparation of reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
  • Maintaining quality customer services by establishing and enforcing company standards.
