SMEC (an SJ Group company) in Pakistan is seeking an Assistant Resident Engineer - Structure for a Roads and Highways project based in Kuchlak, Balochistan. You will supervise structural works on bridges and related structures to meet quality standards and timelines.

Minimum 12 years of overall professional experience, with at least 8 years supervising highways projects as ARE Structure.
Strong knowledge of structural design standards and quality control procedures.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

Review and approve structural designs for bridges, culverts and related works.
Ensure construction activities comply with approved specifications, drawings and quality standards.
Prepare, review, and submit progress reports with proper documentation.
Coordinate with stakeholders and local authorities for smooth project execution.
Identify and resolve on-site structural issues to maintain timelines and quality.
