Duties & Responsibilities:
• Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and detailed records of background check results,
including any discrepancies or issues identified during the quality assurance process.
• Document Review: Thoroughly review and analyze documents provided by individuals undergoing
background checks, ensuring completeness and accuracy in alignment with company standards.
• Data Validation: Verify the accuracy and authenticity of data collected during background
screenings, cross-referencing information from various sources to ensure consistency and reliability.
• Compliance Verification: Ensure that all background checks adhere to legal and regulatory
compliance standards. Stay updated on relevant laws and industry regulations impacting background
screening processes.
• Team Collaboration: Participate in team meetings and contribute to a culture of continuous
improvement and quality excellence.
Responsibilities related to GDPR Compliance and ISO 27001:2022 GDPR Compliance:
• Compliance Verification: Ensure that background check processes comply with GDPR regulations
concerning the lawful processing of personal data, including obtaining consent, ensuring data
accuracy, and implementing appropriate security measures.
• Record Maintenance: Maintain meticulous records of background check results while adhering to
GDPR requirements for data retention periods, ensuring data integrity, confidentiality, and
accessibility in line with GDPR principles.
ISO 27001:2022 Data Security:
the Data Validation: Implement rigorous data validation procedures to verify the accuracy and
authenticity of information collected during background screenings, preventing data breaches and
unauthorized access to sensitive data.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the IT security team to identify and address potential
vulnerabilities in data security controls, ensuring compliance with ISO 27001:2022 standards and
safeguarding against security threats.
ISO 27001:2022 Data Privacy:
• Compliance Verification: Verify that background check processes align with ISO 27001:2022 data
privacy requirements, including the lawful and transparent processing of personal data, and
adherence to privacy policies and procedures.
• Document Review: Conduct comprehensive reviews of data privacy policies, procedures, and
documentation related to background screening activities, identifying areas for improvement to
enhance data privacy and protection.
ISO 27001:2022 Information Security:
• Record Maintenance: Maintain detailed records of information security incidents, breaches, and
remediation efforts related to background screening processes, ensuring compliance with ISO
27001:2022 requirements for incident management and reporting.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the information security team to implement and enforce
information security policies, procedures, and controls, mitigating risks and ensuring the
confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets.
Educational Requirement:
Bachelor's degree or Master’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent
Skills & Tools:
Strong research and fact-finding skills, strong problem-solving skills, and strong written and
oral communication.
Experience Required:
Fresh to 1 year of professional experience in the relevant field.
