Job summary

The Citizen Foundation is seeking a Treasury Clerk to manage daily cash and bank positions, maintain banking relationships, record bank profits and charges in the ERP, and prepare bank reconciliations.

You will coordinate with the disbursement team, ensure timely posting of payments, arrange bank confirmations for audits, and monitor foreign currency movements to ensure compliance with financial policies and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Cash and bank positions on daily basis.
• Maintain strong banking relationships to ensure efficient treasury operations and resolve issues.
• Record Bank profits & Bank charges into ERP of all bank accounts.
• Prepare Bank reconciliations.
• Prepare summary of direct deposits and ensure all direct deposit to be recorded in the same month.
• Coordinate with disbursement team to ensure all payments entries are posted before closing.
• Responsible for facilitating internal and external audit of bank reconciliations.
• Coordinate and arrange bank confirmations during external audit.
• Coordinate with banks for confirmation of any donations/grants/reversal requested received in account.
• Record exchange gain/loss on foreign currency on a monthly basis.
• Keep update and satisfy compliance for bank accounts include addition/removal of authorized signatories, Board members, and Directors.
• Coordinate inward and outward foreign currency remittances with banks, maintain a foreign remittance tracker with all necessary settlement details.
• Review treasury procedures and internal controls to ensure compliance with approved financial policies and delegated authorities.
• Any task assign by line manager.
