Assistant Manager - Software Quality Assurance

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent


• 7+ years of progressive experience in Software Quality Assurance with a strong focus on mobile applications, including at least 2-4 years in a lead or managerial role


• Extensive hands-on experience in testing native mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms, encompassing a deep understanding of platform-specific nuances.


• Expert-level familiarity with Android Studio and Xcode for comprehensive debugging, performance profiling, and in-depth testing.


• Proven expertise in developing and implementing mobile application automation frameworks using Appium, with a focus on scalability and maintainability, good to have familiarity with data-driven or behavior-driven frameworks


• Experience with other mobile automation frameworks and tools is a plus (e.g., Espresso, XCUITest, Selenium).


• Familiarity with writing test scripts in programming languages such as Java, Python, and JavaScript with a focus on best practices.


• In-depth experience with proxy & mocking tools (e.g., Appium Inspector, Charles Proxy, Fiddler, Postman) for advanced API testing and network simulation.


• Experience as a technical lead or team manager, including mentoring junior QA engineers, defining technical strategies, and driving continuous improvement.


• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.


• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams,
  stakeholders, and senior management


• Ability to work in an agile environment and adapt to changing requirements.


• Strong understanding of mobile testing principles and methodologies, including UI/UX, functional, regression, performance, security, and accessibility testing..


• Perform, design, implement, and oversee comprehensive manual and automated testing strategies for mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms


• Conduct functional, usability, regression, and exploratory testing to identify defects and ensure a smooth user experience.


• Collaborate with developers and product teams to review user stories and create detailed, executable test plans, test cases, and quality metrics


• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating mobile testing into automated build processes.


• Knowledge of cloud-based mobile testing platforms (e.g., LamdaTest, BrowserStack, Sauce Labs) is a plus.
