Job description

Job Title: Assistant Manager Purchase

Job Description:
  1. Research, develop and recommend vendor commodities and services, determine supplier products and catalogs used in on-line requisition program, assure lowest total cost, best quality and service are met.
  2. Investigate potential products, practices and services which will provide a reduction in operational costs.
  3. Evaluate vendor’s quotation to ensure that they are in line with the technical and commercial specifications required for the project.
  4. Convert requisitions, issue purchase orders to registered vendors, approve ordering, distribute purchase orders to the appropriate vendor.
  5. Manage open purchase orders, assure timely low cost delivery and receive items in company warehouse, investigate received items and communicate about damage or threat to product when appropriate.
  6. In charge of daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing and following up on acceptance orders, Purchase Orders delivery and shipment schedules.
  7. Cultivate & maintain positive vendor relations to achieve maximum cost savings, optimal performance & quality standards.
  8. Perform assigned responsibilities, duties, and tasks according to established practices, procedures, techniques, and standards in a safe manner and with minimal supervision.
  9. Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time & best prices and ensure all the criteria are met according to the organizational requirements and expectation.
  10. Hands-on practice on purchase module, GL module in any kind of software.
  11. Import experience is a plus point.
