Job Responsibilities
Operational Risk Assessment of Branches/ Units and Bank Policies & Procedures Reviews
Execution operational risk assessment of business units by visiting sample business units to oversee the effectiveness of control implemented. Work with Business & Functions representatives to receive control and risk metrics in order to monitor Operational Risk KRIs Perform and assist in conducting periodic review of Bank policies, procedures and products for identifications of gaps and to ensure regulations are adhered to at-least and banking best practices are being proposed as a proactive approach where needed Review risk assessment reports in connection with data gathered/ analyzed Ascertain and confirm that bank/units wide risk registers, KRIs, KPIs, and internal control sample testing are effectively implemented with annually Updation. Periodically review OR Assessments to ensure these appropriately reflect changes in environment, mitigating controls and the progress of treatment plans Utilizing mathematical and statistical knowledge to assist with the building of various risk models in support of Operational Risk Management
Development & Implementation Incident Reporting, Loss database & Risk Management Tools
Assist in Development of mechanism for Incident reporting & loss data base that covers each and every bank wide near-miss/ losses Report and escalate significant operational risk events to Quantify the Operational Risk using Incidents & loss data base modeling Conduct Root Cause Analysis (where require) for relevant events and give information/ updates to Chief Risk Officer/ Senior Management as appropriate
Awareness & Training
Conduct awareness and training sessions at assigned branches
Reporting, Record/ Data Maintenance
Preparation and maintenance of Reports of all tasks assigned on regular basis or special tasks
Technical Competency And Skills

Experience And Qualification
Minimum Bachelor Degree preferably in Finance, Economics or related fields
