Job summary

HBFC is hiring for Assistant Manager/Manager – Internal Audit to support audits and drive internal controls.

The role requires ACMA/ACCA/CA or a Masters/Bachelor in Finance, with at least 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience. Candidates should exhibit strong communication, analytical, and ethical standards while managing audit portfolios and relationships with risk owners.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance and support in audits and special projects as assigned by line manager or Group Head – Internal Audit.
• Recommend revisions to policies and procedures to improve internal control.
• Draft initial audit reports in conformance with policy and guidelines.
• Prepare comprehensive planning and risk assessments to identify business risks.
• Complete audits as assigned by the team leader.
• Develop ownership of assigned audit portfolios and interact with key personnel to stay updated on changing risks.
• Carry out process reviews and risk assessments of organizational activities.
• Perform any other tasks as assigned by line manager.
• Communicate effectively and present findings clearly; maintain strong writing and analytical capabilities.

Job Description:

• Provide assistance and extend support in performance of audit and special projects as assigned by the line manager / Group Head – Internal Audit
• Recommend revisions and / or additions to policies and procedures to improve internal control
• Draft initial audit report in conformance with policy and guidelines
• Provide assistance in preparation of comprehensive planning and risk assessment to identify potential business risks
• Complete audit as given by the team leader / Group Head – Internal Audit
• Develop full ownership of assigned audit portfolios and establish effective relationships with key personnel in these portfolios in order to stay abreast of changing and emerging risks
• Carry out process review of the organization and assess risk in the activities.
• Any other task as assigned by the line manager / Group Head – Internal Audit
