Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Carry out pre-audit / compliance check of invoices and payment vouchers for CHD projects and report shortcomings to Senior Manager Internal Audit.
• During visits for review of program reports at different locations perform audits and report observations.
• Ensure timely planning, execution and reporting of audits, including drafts, working papers and final reports.
• Follow-up on audit progress to ensure effective and efficient completion.
• Review effectiveness of internal control system and ensure SOP compliance.
• Liaise with other departments to build relationships and trust.
• Carry out other special assignments as directed.

Job Description

TASKS & ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Carry out pre-audit /compliance check of all the invoices and payment vouchers emanating from Islamabad, Peshawar & Quetta offices under Community Health Directorate (CHD) project and report back shortcomings to Senior Manager, Internal Audit
• During visits for review of program reports at different locations of Peshawar & Quetta as and when directed by the supervisor.
• Inachieving the department’s goals and objectives as per his directions on anongoing basis.
• Inconducting operational activities of CHD projects based in Islamabad & Peshawar, Quetta and other districts and report back the observations to SeniorManager Internal Audit.
• Ensure the timely planning, execution and reporting of audits. Tasks would include (but not be limited to) submission of drafts reports, preparation of complete working papers and finalization of audit reports.
• Follow-up on the progress of the audit assignment on a regular basis to ensure its effective and efficient completion.
• Review the effectiveness of the internal control system and ensure its compliance, as defined by the departmental SOPs.
• Liaise with other departments assisting in building relationships and trust.
• Carry out other special assignments as directed by the supervisor from time to time.
