A leading company in the food sector is seeking an Assistant Manager for Inventory Control & Stores in Karachi. The role involves managing inventory, ensuring compliance with standards, and coordinating dispatch activities. Ideal candidates should have experience in inventory management and reporting.
- Update formulations according to physical production.
- Monitor PACKING & RAW stores.
- Take fortnightly stock summaries and verify with physical counts.
- Maintain manual inventory records.
- Monitor and maintain the monthly check sheet.
- Discuss any issues arising during these duties and present brief reports to the person in charge.
- Carry out any other assignments given by the concerned department or management.
- Observe compliance with ISO 9001:2000 standards.
- Manage all local and export dispatch activities, including order picking, order checking, vehicle loading/unloading, and preparing computerized documents such as DN, EDN, GTN, GRR, manual gate passes, and forwarding memos.
- Arrange for third-party finished goods and return goods receiving from customers.
- Submit daily reports of DNs and bills to the Accounts department.
- Coordinate monthly stock taking with the Audit Department.
