Frontier Works Organization is seeking a Geospatial Analyst to acquire, preprocess, and analyze remote sensing data for mineral exploration in Nok Kundi. The role involves generating multispectral maps, conducting terrain and spatial analyses, and supporting field teams with base maps and data collection plans.

The ideal candidate will have a BS in Space Science Geology or Remote Sensing/GIS, proficient GIS skills, and experience interpreting satellite imagery.

Formación

• BS degree in Space Science Geology or BS in Remote Sensing/GIS is required.
• Proficiency in GIS software and geospatial analysis.
• Experience interpreting remote sensing data and satellite imagery.

Responsabilidades

• Acquire, preprocess, and analyze remote sensing data for mineral exploration.
• Generate alteration, lineament, lithological, and land cover maps.
• Conduct GIS-based spatial analysis including terrain modeling and target delineation.
• Create and manage geodatabases, project layers, and coordinate systems.
• Integrate remote sensing outputs with geological data for interpretation.
• Support field teams with base maps, traverses, and data collection plans.
• Perform image classification, band ratios, and spectral indices for alteration mapping.
• Prepare and present spatial analysis results and maps to exploration managers.
• Ensure data accuracy, version control, and backup of GIS/RS data and projects.
• Collaborate with geologists and JV partners to align outputs with exploration objectives.

• Acquire, preprocess, and analyze remote sensing data (e.g., ASTER, Landsat, Sentinel, WorldView) for mineral exploration.
• Generate alteration, lineament, lithological, and land cover maps using multispectral and hyperspectral data.
• Conduct GIS-based spatial analysis including terrain modeling, buffer analysis, and target delineation.
• Create and manage geodatabases, project layers, and coordinate systems.
• Integrate remote sensing outputs with geological, geochemical, and geophysical data for interpretation and decision support.
• Support field teams by preparing base maps, traverses, and field data collection plans.
• Perform image classification, band ratios, and spectral indices tailored to hydrothermal alteration mapping.
• Prepare and present spatial analysis results, maps, and technical documentation to exploration managers.
• Ensure data accuracy, version control, and backup of GIS/RS data and projects.
• Collaborate with geologists, field teams, and JV partners to align spatial outputs with exploration objectives.
