Job summary

Folio3 is seeking an Assistant Manager Finance to own management reporting, MIS dashboards and financial analytics with a strong grip on business understanding and accuracy-driven reporting.

The role demands advanced Excel, attention to detail, and the ability to convert raw financial data into actionable insights for leadership. You will prepare weekly/monthly MIS, build dashboards, perform analysis, and support month-end close while ensuring data integrity.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience (Finance reporting / MIS / analytics).
• Audit firm experience is a plus.
• Software/IT company experience is a plus.
• Structured and process-driven industry experience preferred.
• Ability to translate financial data into business insights.

Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly/monthly management reports (MIS) for leadership and business teams.
• Develop and maintain financial dashboards, KPI trackers and reporting templates.
• Perform financial analysis to support business decisions (revenue, costs, profitability, utilization).
• Support month-end reporting activities and ensure accuracy of reporting packs.
• Ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy across sources.
• Identify gaps and implement automation/improvements in reporting processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand drivers and reporting needs.
• Use Finance AI tools to improve reporting efficiency, variance analysis, and forecasting.

We are looking for anAssistant Manager Financewho can take ownership ofmanagement reporting, MIS dashboards, and financial analyticswith a strong grip onbusiness understanding and accuracy-driven reporting. This role requires a candidate withadvanced Excel expertise, strong attention to detail, and the ability to convert raw financial data into actionable insights for leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepareweekly/monthly management reports (MIS)for leadership and business teams.
• Develop and maintainfinancial dashboards, KPI trackers and reporting templates.
• Performfinancial analysisto support business decisions (revenue, costs, profitability, utilization etc.).
• Support month-end reporting activities by ensuring accuracy of key reporting packs and able to work in sub functions of finance such as AR/ AP/ Payroll
• Ensuredata integrity, reconciliations and reporting accuracyacross different sources.
• Identify reporting gaps and proactively implementautomation / improvementsin reporting processes.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business drivers and reporting needs.
• Use and exploreFinance AI toolsto improve reporting efficiency, automation, variance analysis, and forecasting support.
• Able to coordinate with external stakeholders such as banks/ insurance companies/ auditors, government authorities
• Strong grip on IFRS, Company Law, Corporate taxation
• Ability to work on corporate, secretarial, taxation and bookkeeping of international subsidiaries

Experience & Profile Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience(Finance reporting / MIS / analytics)
• Audit firm experience is a plus
• Software/IT company experience is a plus
• If not from software, must have experience in astructured and process-driven industry
• Strong understanding of business operations andability to translate financial data into business insights
• Highlydetail-oriented, with strong commitment toaccuracy and reporting discipline
• Immediate joiner / short noticeis strongly preferred

Excel Requirement (Advanced Level – MUST)

The candidate must haveAdvanced Excel skillsincluding:

• Advanced formulas:XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS, IF/IFS, nested formulas
• Pivot Tables, Pivot Charts, slicers
• Dynamic arrays & advanced functions (preferred)
• Data cleaning & structuring for reporting
• Strong ability to builddashboard-style reporting packs
