Job summary

PARCO Pearl Gas (Pvt) Ltd is seeking an Assistant Maintenance for our Adhi Filling Plant near Rawalpindi. The role demands hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance within LPG plants and related facilities.

You will perform preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshoot rotary equipment, and maintain accurate records while coordinating with planning teams to ensure safe and reliable plant operations.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Technology from a recognized institute.
• 5–7 years of hands-on maintenance experience in LPG plants, oil & gas, petrochemical, or related settings.
• Experience with maintenance and troubleshooting of rotary equipment and related systems.
• Working knowledge of LPG plant equipment and plant operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive and routine maintenance of mechanical and plant equipment to ensure reliability and minimize downtime.
• Inspect equipment, diagnose faults and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Maintain maintenance records and equipment history per procedures.
• Coordinate with planning for spare parts and tools; supervise contractor maintenance activities.

PARCO is seeking applications for the position of Assistant Maintenance for its 100% owned subsidiary PARCO Pearl Gas (Pvt) Ltd. PPGL is the largest LPG marketing company in Pakistan having countrywide presence.

Qualification & Experience

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Technology from a recognized institute.
• 5–7 years of relevant hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance within LPG plants, oil & gas, petrochemical, process plants or a similar industrial environment.
• Practical experience in the maintenance and troubleshooting of rotary equipment and other mechanical plant equipment.
• Working knowledge of LPG plant equipment and basic understanding of plant operations.
• Relevant technical or maintenance certifications will be considered an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive and routine maintenance of mechanical and plant equipment to ensure reliability and minimize unplanned downtime.
• Carry out equipment inspections, testing, fault diagnosis and troubleshooting to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of rotary equipment and associated mechanical systems.
• Execute preventive maintenance activities in accordance with approved maintenance plans and schedules.
• Provide technical support for the timely resolution of operational and maintenance-related issues.
• Identify recurring equipment faults and support corrective actions to improve equipment reliability and performance.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, equipment history and technical documentation in line with company procedures and standards.
• Coordinate with maintenance planning and scheduling teams for the availability and procurement of required spare parts, tools and inventory.
• Supervise and monitor outsourced/contractor maintenance activities to ensure work is completed according to required technical and safety standards.
• Read and interpret relevant technical documents, equipment manuals, drawings and maintenance procedures.
• Ensure strict compliance with Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) requirements and safe work practices during all maintenance activities.
