Job summary

The Citizen Foundation in the UK seeks an Assistant Manager Finance to support the effective financial management and day-to-day finance operations. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the role will maintain accurate records, support budgeting and reporting, manage transactions and reconciliations, and ensure policy compliance for a smooth finance function.

The role covers monthly, quarterly and annual close, ensuring transactions are correctly recorded in Xero and Salesforce, supporting Gift Aid

Qualifications

• Experience in financial planning, budgeting and financial reporting.
• Experience with Xero accounting software and Salesforce required.
• Familiarity with charites or non-profit financial controls is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the Finance Manager in preparing the annual budget, forecasts and financial plans.
• Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support financial information and analysis as required by the Finance Manager.
• Process invoices, payments and receipts; track expenses against budgets.
