Job description

Responsible to handle all matters of Karachi Denim exports, Karachi Denim local, and Lahore Denim local shipments. Follow up on all freight invoices of Denim Karachi. Correspondence with different shipping lines to collect the ocean freight and negotiate. Check & monitor on-time submission of complete sales tax documents, L/C documents, and forward all export clearing bills. To verify and upload rebate cases, duty drawback cases, and complete shipment details in the APPS system. To correspond with customers and banks for maturities and payments. Follow up with banks for L/C documents including removing discrepancies. Contact with buyers and marketing through e-mails to provide them complete updates on shipment movements and documents. Follow up on all exports and local L/Cs and negotiate with buyers and marketing if any amendments are required. Forward Bill of Lading instructions according to the L/C and final quantity details to the shipping line and forwarder.

Job Specification

Graduate or Master's degree preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics, Marketing, or equivalent field. 2-4 years related work experience. Analytical skills. Strong interpersonal skills and negotiation skills. Knowledge of local & international trade, export laws, and regulations. Exposure to international business relationships/contacts will be an added advantage.
