Job summary

Prime Minister’s Youth Program is seeking a seasoned ICT Network Engineer with a four-year degree in software or computer-related fields and at least five years of post-qualification experience in ICT. The role requires strong TCP/IP, routing, switching, and firewall knowledge, plus virtualization and network monitoring expertise.

PEC/NCEAC registration is preferred. Candidates with CCNA/CCNP/CompTIA Network+ certifications will be favored.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, IT or related field from a recognized university.
• Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in a reputed ICT organization.
• Preferred certifications: CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+.
• Master's degree preferred and PEC/NCEAC registration preferred.

Job description

Four-year Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, IT or any other relevant field from a reputed local or foreign university, duly recognized & verified by HEC, with a Minimum CGPA of 3.5 or 75% marks. Minimum 05 years of post-qualification experience in relevant field from a reputed public/private sector ICT organization. Preferred Skills: Network administration and troubleshooting (TCP/IP, VLANs, subnetting, routing, switching, STP, DHCP, DNS, NAT), Layer-2/Layer-3 switches, enterprise firewalls, IPsec/SSL VPNs, network monitoring tools (PRTG, Zabbix, Nagios, ntopng, Wireshark), network segmentation, virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox), and server backup/recovery. Certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+), Master's degree (18 years), and valid registration from PEC or NCEAC preferred.
