Job summary

Midas Safety Inc. is seeking a costing specialist in Karachi to manage cost control, BOM validation, and performance analysis within a manufacturing environment. You will work with SAP FICO to generate monthly reports, analyze margins, and support strategic decisions.

The role requires 3–5 years in costing, ICMA qualification, and strong analytical/problem-solving skills. You will produce dashboards and variance analyses and contribute to month-end closing processes.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of costing experience in manufacturing
• ICMA Qualified or Part Qualified
• Proficiency in SAP FICO and strong analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Prepare and circulate monthly Inventory Aging reports with accurate provisioning
• Evaluate product margins, customer profitability, and cost-to-serve metrics
• Prepare costing reports (CPM, CTC, etc.)
• Validate BOMs for accuracy and completeness
• Perform production variance and price analysis; monitor actual vs. standard costs
• Ensure all production orders are TECO and GR/IR posted before month-end
• Prepare management reports, dashboards, and presentations for decision-making
• Run monthly cost estimates and ML closing cycle in SAP
• Prepare post-dispatch analysis for customers and SKUs
• Prepare outlook and compare with actual and forecasted
• Compute material price and sales price variance
• Prepare production variance report BOM vs actual at SKU level

Responsibilities

• Preparation and circulation of monthly Inventory Aging reports, ensuring accurate provisioning per company policy.
• Evaluate product margins, customer profitability, and cost-to-serve metrics.
• Preparation of Costing reports CPM, CTC etc
• Validate Bill of Materials (BOMs) for accuracy and completeness.
• Perform production variance and material price analysis; monitor actual vs. standard costs and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure all production orders are TECO and GR/IR posted prior to month-end (pre-ML closing).
• Prepare management reports, dashboards, and presentations to support decision-making.
• Run the monthly & Regular Cost estimate & also run the ML closing cycle through SAP.
• Prepare the post-dispatch analysis for customer & SKU's wise level
• Prepare the outlook and compare with actual & forecasted.
• Prepare the material price & sales price variance.
• Prepare the production variance report BOM Vs actual on SKU level.
