Job summary

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering.
- 5–8 years of engineering/maintenance experience in FMCG, food, pharmaceutical, or process manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance and reliability engineering, industrial utilities, projects, and equipment troubleshooting.
- Experience with RCA, preventive/predictive maintenance, CAPEX execution, and contractor management.
- Working knowledge of HSE, GMP, and engineering compliance.
Responsibilities
- Drive preventive and predictive maintenance programs for critical plant assets.
- Analyze equipment failures and lead root cause analysis and permanent corrective actions.
- Improve equipment reliability, availability, and maintenance effectiveness.
- Support development of asset criticality, maintenance strategies, and equipment lifecycle plans.
- Monitor engineering KPIs and identify opportunities for performance improvement.
- Provide technical support to production and engineering teams on complex equipment and infrastructure issues.
- Establish and maintain engineering standards, specifications, drawings, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate technical activities across mechanical, electrical, utilities, refrigeration, and infrastructure disciplines.
- Support troubleshooting of major or repetitive technical problems.
- Identify energy, water, and utility-efficiency improvement opportunities.
- Develop technical scopes and cost estimates for CAPEX projects.
- Ensure engineering activities comply with HSE, GMP, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Promote safe engineering practices for maintenance, projects, contractors, and modifications.
- Identify opportunities to reduce breakdowns, maintenance costs, energy consumption, and losses.

To provide centralized engineering support across the factory, ensuring safe, reliable, compliant, and cost-effective operation of plant equipment, utilities, infrastructure, and engineering systems. The role drives equipment reliability, maintenance excellence, technical standards, improvement projects, and engineering capability across the site.

- Apply structured problem-solving and reliability improvement methodologies.
- Standardize engineering best practices across different factory areas.
- Coordinate with OEMs, contractors, suppliers, and technical service providers.
- Review technical proposals and ensure compliance with site specifications.
- Monitor quality and technical performance of contracted engineering work.
- Provide technical coaching and guidance to engineers, supervisors, and maintenance teams.
- Develop troubleshooting capability and promote knowledge sharing.
- Support development of technical SOPs, maintenance standards, and training materials.
- Has a bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
