Job summary

qordata is seeking an Associate Software Engineer to join our focused product team in Karachi. You will contribute across software development, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement to deliver high-quality products.

We embrace AI-driven software engineering and engineers are expected to effectively use Claude Code, Antigravity, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar AI coding assistants while applying sound engineering judgment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of software development experience; fresh graduates encouraged.
• Strong fundamentals in OOP, data structures, algorithms, and clean code.
• Good analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to contribute across development, QA, and product delivery.
• Passion for AI-driven software engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain secure, scalable software.
• Collaborate with team across development, testing, debugging, and delivery.
• Support quality assurance activities, including testing and defect resolution.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity while ensuring quality.
• Follow software engineering best practices, coding standards, and secure development principles.
• Participate in code reviews, task estimation, deployments, and continuous improvement.
