Job summary

Convo seeks a hands-on engineering Manager to turn its full-stack team into an AI-native engineering organization, leveraging autonomous coding agents to drive the full development lifecycle.

You will balance technical execution, architecture, people management and delivery ownership, with strong backend in Python/.NET and frontend in React/Angular. Lead end-to-end delivery of scalable, secure software and guide AI tool selection and HITL controls, while mentoring a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering and delivery.
• 4+ years leading frontend, backend and QA teams.
• Hands-on use of AI coding agents (Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex).
• Backend: Python/FastAPI or .NET/C#, Frontend: React/Angular.
• Cloud and DevOps: Azure, AWS; Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI agentic coding and AI-native engineering across the SDLC.
• Oversee end-to-end delivery across frontend, backend, APIs and databases.
• Build versioned REST APIs and MCP servers for apps and AI agents.
• Set frontend architecture, components and API integration patterns.
• Drive delivery, quality, security, testing, observability and documentation.
