Job summary

Technology Rivers, LLC is seeking an AI & ML Engineer to design and ship AI-powered features for client projects and internal tools. You will integrate LLMs, build RAG systems, and create scalable ML solutions.

You will fine-tune models, evaluate performance, and deploy them on cloud platforms, using LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face and vector databases to support search-driven applications. Independent work across multiple projects is expected.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Python with production AI/ML experience.
• Experience with LLM application development and traditional ML (training, fine-tuning, evaluation).
• Familiarity with vector databases and retrieval-based architectures.
• Working knowledge of cloud AI services (AWS, Azure or GCP) and API-based integration with LLM providers.
• Ability to work independently across multiple projects and clarify requirements early.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and integrate LLM-powered features into client and internal applications.
• Develop, fine-tune, and evaluate models, including data preparation, training, and benchmarking.
• Select and work with appropriate tools/frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face) per project needs.
• Deploy LLMs to production using cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Design and maintain vector databases and retrieval pipelines (Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector).
• Use AI-assisted development tools (Claude, Cursor) while owning code and models shipped to production.
• Work independently across client and internal projects, surfacing ambiguities early.
