Qualifications

• 2+ years building AI or machine-learning features in production.
• Strong Python; working knowledge of JavaScript or PHP.
• Experience with LLM APIs and retrieval-augmented generation.
• Experience with vector search or embeddings.
• Good understanding of data privacy when handling client data.

Responsibilities

• Build features on top of large language model APIs, including retrieval from client data.
• Design prompts, evaluation sets and guardrails, and measure output quality.
• Build data pipelines to clean, chunk and index documents.
• Integrate AI features into Laravel, Node.js and WordPress applications.
• Monitor cost, speed and accuracy in production and improve them.
• Explain clearly to clients what a feature can and cannot do.
