Job summary

A local textile management firm in Lahore is seeking an Admin Officer responsible for various administrative duties in a new stitching unit. Key responsibilities include managing security and safety, gate operations, and liaising with government bodies. The ideal candidate should possess strong administrative skills, be fluent in Urdu and Punjabi, and have basic computer knowledge. Experience in the textile industry is a plus.

Overview

An admin officer will be responsible to take over administrative duties of a new stitching unit immediately and provide support for establishing a new unit and will ensure smooth functioning in the following areas:

  • Security staff management
  • Fire Risk Management; by monitoring fire hazards and establishing safety systems, performing inspection, testing and maintenance of all types of fire protection systems
  • To control gate operations: inward/outward movement of raw materials, machinery and company assets
  • To manage issues regarding vehicles: daily operations, maintenance, fuel consumption, drivers' administration etc.
  • To ensure the cleanliness around the factory
  • To formulate/regulate organization policies
  • To manage staff shared resources (meeting room, kitchen etc.)
  • To coordinate with maintenance department for construction and miscellaneous electrical/mechanical issues
  • Liaison with Govt. departments, i.e. LESCO, SUI GAS, PTC, Social security etc.
  • Rejection / Wastage Management
  • Company's Asset Management i,e Furniture, Vehicles, Telephones, Air conditioners, etc.
  • Handling guest issues
  • To handle labour welfare matters (milk, issue of tea, etc)
  • Fair Price Shop, Workers Uniform, etc.
