Pavago is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to support our finance and operations team. You will manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, and commissions while ensuring accurate financial records and reconciliations.

You will collaborate with finance and sales to ensure invoices, payments, commissions, and reporting are accurate. Remote work is supported; Salesforce experience is mandatory, and QuickBooks/Bill.com proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional accounting experience in AR/AP or similar roles.
• Salesforce experience is mandatory, use to manage data, reports, and commission processes.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks or Bill.com is required.
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills for data analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

We're looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Specialist to support our finance and operations team. In this role, you'll manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, sales commission calculations, and financial reconciliations while maintaining accurate financial records.

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you'll work closely with the finance and sales teams to ensure invoices, payments, commissions, and financial reporting are handled accurately and efficiently.

What You’ll Own

Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Generate and send customer invoices, track outstanding balances, and follow up on overdue payments.
• Apply customer payments and reconcile account discrepancies.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and help maintain accurate customer records.

Accounts Payable (AP)

• Process vendor invoices and ensure payments are made on time.
• Maintain accurate vendor records and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Support an organized and reliable accounts payable process.
• Calculate and process sales commissions accurately based on established compensation plans.
• Maintain commission reports and verify calculations against relevant sales data.
• Collaborate with sales leadership to address commission-related questions and discrepancies.
• Perform daily and monthly financial reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end closing activities.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in QuickBooks or other relevant accounting systems.
• Use Salesforce to manage sales data, generate reports, and support commission calculations.
• Generate financial and operational reports for internal teams.
• Reconcile information across accounting systems, CRM platforms, and spreadsheets.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across financial records and reports.

Required Experience & Skills

• At least 2 years of professional experience in accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reconciliation.
• Salesforce experience is mandatory and non-negotiable. Candidates must have hands-on professional experience using Salesforce to manage sales data, generate reports, and support financial or commission-related processes. Candidates without Salesforce experience will not be considered.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks or Bill.com is mandatory. Experience with at least one of these systems is required.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to reconcile data across accounting systems, CRM platforms, and spreadsheets.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities effectively in a fully remote environment.
