Job summary

Ibtdara is seeking a Senior Accounts & Finance Executive with VAT experience to manage daily accounting and financial operations on a fully remote basis. The role requires hands-on VAT calculations, tax reconciliations, and end-to-end financial management.

The candidate will oversee AP/AR, payroll, cash flow, and reporting, ensuring accurate records and compliance. Strong Excel skills and familiarity with QuickBooks or Xero are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on accounting and finance experience.
• Strong VAT, taxation, and tax reconciliation knowledge.
• Experience with AP, AR, payroll, reconciliations, and cash-flow management.
• Experience managing end-to-end accounting and financial operations.
• Familiarity with financial reporting and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QBooks, Xero or similar).
• Analytical and problem-solving skills; high attention to detail.

About the Role

Ibtdara is looking for an experienced and highly capable Senior Accounts & Finance Executive to manage the company’s day-to-day accounting and financial operations.

This role requires strong hands-on expertise across VAT calculations, tax reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, cash-flow management, financial reconciliations, reporting, and overall financial compliance . We are looking for someone who can independently manage core accounting functions and maintain accurate, organized financial records.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and financial operations.
  
• Handle VAT calculations, VAT records, and tax reconciliations .
  
• Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), including invoices, payments, collections, and follow-ups.

Requirements
