Job summary

READ Foundation seeks an Academic Coordinator to oversee quality teaching across Model Schools from ECE to Grade 5, with oversight of satellite schools and potential expansion to Grades 6–7. Based in Nok Kundi, the role will involve regular school visits and travel to partner sites.

You will develop curricula, lesson plans, assessments, and training materials, observe classrooms, monitor literacy and numeracy benchmarks, and coordinate with Islamabad-based trainers to strengthen foundational

• Master's degree in Education (M.Ed.), Educational Leadership, or a relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee implementation of READ Foundation's academic curriculum from ECE to Grade 5.
• Develop lesson plans, teaching guides, assessment templates and practice handouts.
• Conduct classroom observations and provide feedback to teachers.
• Manage Literacy & Numeracy Coach activities to improve foundational learning.
• Ensure Model Schools maintain required academic standards.
• Coordinate support visits from Model Schools to Satellite Schools twice monthly.
• Supervise Backup Teachers and coordinate Ed-Tech and staff training.
• Organize winter camps for remedial/catch-up classes.
• Plan curriculum, teacher training and materials for potential Grade 6–7 expansion.
• Coordinate capacity-building activities with Islamabad-based trainers.
• Monitor student literacy and numeracy benchmarks.
• Support continuous teacher professional development.
