2D Animator / Adobe After Effects Expert

Flixel.Studio is a growing animation studio that creates high-quality 2D animated content for various platforms. We are looking for a skilled 2D Animator to join our team of talented artists and animators.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the team to create high-quality 2D animated content that meets our clients' needs
• Work closely with the Art Director, Storyboard Artist, and other team members to ensure that the animation aligns with the project's vision and goals
• Create and animate characters, backgrounds, and other assets in Adobe After Effects, Adobe Illustrator or other relevant software
• Animate characters and objects in a variety of styles and techniques, including traditional hand-drawn animation, cut-out animation, and puppet animation
• Ensure that animation is consistent with the project's style guide and specifications
• Meet project deadlines and deliver quality work under tight deadlines
• Collaborate with other artists and animators to create seamless transitions between scenes and shots
• Communicate and coordinate with project managers to ensure that projects are completed on time and on budget
• Continuously improve your skills and stay up-to-date with the latest animation techniques and software

Requirements:

• Strong portfolio showcasing your 2D animation skills, including character animation and effects animation
• Proficiency in Adobe Flash, Toon Boom Harmony or other relevant software
• Experience with various animation styles and techniques
• Good understanding of the principles of animation, including timing, spacing, and weight
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
