Job summary

GreensoSafe International Pte Ltd is seeking a Workplace Safety health Coordinator for Tuas to ensure WSH compliance and lead EHS activities on site. Immediate start with responsibility for inspections, inductions, risk assessments, and audits, while mentoring workers and contractors.

You will implement and monitor the EHS management system, verify hazardous works, and drive incident investigations and WSH training to maintain a safe project environment.

Qualifications

• WSQ advance certificate in WSH with valid Refresher certificate.
• WAH assessor certificate is required.
• Risk management course is required.
• Team player with ability to work independently.
• Minimum 2 years of construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Carry out duties as specified by WSH Act.
• Assist in the implementation of the EHS management system.
• Ensure site activities comply with applicable legal requirements.
• Carry out daily WSH inspections including machinery, equipment, plant, and installation.
• Function as the Site EHS Assessor in the verification of hazardous works.
• Conduct EHS induction courses for new employees and contractors.
• Ensure that Risk Assessments and Safe Work Procedures are briefed to workers and sub-contractors.
• Identify WSH hazards and implement control measures.
• Prepare monthly WSH reports, Risk Assessments, SWPs and permits to works submission per main contractor requirements.
• Ensure workers and sub-contractors comply with EHS Management System & applicable legal requirements.
• Maintain and monitor EHS records/checklists.
• Participate and facilitate Internal/External audits.
• Investigate and report WSH incidents and near misses.
• Conduct WSH and other related training.
• Carry out any other duties as assigned by the Project Manager and Management.
