Job summary

QBE Group Shared Services Centre in the Philippines is seeking a full-time IT Infrastructure Engineer to build, administer, support, and maintain Unified Communications infrastructure in alignment with QBE and divisional policies. You will collaborate with a team of specialists to ensure seamless integration, delivery, and operation of services.

The role requires experience in Workplace Engineering, EUC, and ITIL practices, with a focus on security, risk management and continuous improvement

Qualifications

Tertiary degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Responsibilities

Maintain the security, confidentiality and integrity of information systems through compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
Take ownership of problems and proactively resolve technical issues, ensuring solutions meet business requirements.
Design, implement and operate IT infrastructure technologies and solutions.
Create system designs to meet defined business needs, working with stakeholders to translate business problems into technical designs.
Understand and identify problems, analyse and provide appropriate solutions.
Maintain focus on the whole life of service delivery, ensuring IT products and vendors deliver services.
Demonstrate lateral thinking to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across various technology capabilities.
Visualise ideal user services and explore different design approaches.
Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver outstanding customer experiences through technical expertise.
Identify and assess risks within your subject matter area, lead risk-related dialogue as the SME for that domain, and support stakeholders in making informed, risk-based decisions. Mitigate risks in delivery while keeping to agreed plan and timeframes.

The purpose of this role is to build, administer, support, and maintain Unified Communications infrastructure solutions in alignment with QBE and divisional policies. Collaborate with a team of specialists and engineers to ensure seamless integration, delivery, and operation of services. Translate architectural designs into operational plans, provide input to overall management, and work with third parties to deliver infrastructure services effectively.

Work Experience

Experience in Workplace Engineering, End User Computing (EUC), Infrastructure, or Endpoint Management.
Experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments.
Experience or exposure to Microsoft Modern Workplace technologies and services (Windows 11, Intune, SCCM/MECM, Windows 365, Entra, Active Directory, GPO)
Demonstrated experience in automation, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Working knowledge of ITIL practices and service management principles (Incident, Request, Problem & Change Management)

Qualifications

Tertiary Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
