Qualifications

  • Good knowledge of Windows computers and Windows servers, Active Directory, and common business applications.
  • Basic understanding of computer networking and troubleshooting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet applications.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
  • Able to handle confidential employee and company information.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor employee work activity using WebWork and other approved workforce management tools.
  • Review working hours, activity levels, and application/website usage.
  • Analyze alignment of activity with duties and schedules.
  • Review purpose and business relevance of websites and tools used during working hours.
  • Identify unusual activity, discrepancies, or patterns needing clarification.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly workforce reports.
  • Provide first-line IT support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computers and software.
  • Assist employees with Microsoft 365, email, and business applications.

About the role

The Workforce & IT Support Analyst is responsible for monitoring and analyzing workforce activity while providing day-to-day desktop and technical support to employees. The position combines workforce monitoring and reporting with end-user IT support, helping management understand workforce performance while ensuring employees have the technology and technical assistance required to perform their work.

Key responsibilities
  • Monitor employee work activity using WebWork and other approved workforce management tools
  • Review working hours, activity levels, application usage, website usage, and other available workforce data
  • Analyze whether recorded activity is aligned with employees' assigned duties and working schedules
  • Review the purpose and business relevance of websites, applications, and tools used during working hours
  • Identify unusual activity, extended inactivity, discrepancies, or patterns that may require clarification
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly workforce reports
  • Provide first-line technical support to employees and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and other IT equipment
  • Install, configure, and maintain computers and software
  • Assist employees with Microsoft 365, email, business applications, and other company systems
  • Prepare and deploy computers and other IT equipment for new and existing employees
About you
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or any related field
  • Experience in workforce analysis, IT support, or a similar role is preferred
  • Good knowledge of Windows computers/windows servers, Active Directory, Microsoft Office, and common business applications
  • Basic understanding of computer networking and troubleshooting
