Job summary

Procter & Gamble is seeking a Configuration Engineer - BY WMS (PrIME) to design and develop next-generation configuration standards and support the PrIME Expansion and Upgrade Masterplan. You will evolve legacy configurations for live sites and projects while collaborating with our WMS vendor and internal teams.

The role emphasizes hands-on configuration, documentation, and training activities to ensure standardized implementations across diverse warehouses and plants worldwide.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing JDA Warehouse solutions at complex, highly automated warehouses.
• Ability to assess business requirements and configure the application to global template standards.
• Proven ability to assess root cause of defects and set direction on remediation: software issue, work process change etc.
• Proven ability in BY upgrades or version 2018 & above.
• Hands-on technical mastery: install/configure/test complex applications and document them for repeatable implementations.
• In-depth understanding of WMS processes for distribution centers and plants to enable business transformation.

Responsibilities

• Test & deploy new PrIME configuration standards & return to standard opportunities.
• Support configuration migration strategy in close collaboration with our WMS vendor BlueYonder.
• Train Solution Experts on revised configuration standards & techniques.
• Develop tools for configuration automation & configuration audits.
• Develop PrIME configuration documentation & deployment package.
